My Sleepy Suburb... actually really pretty at the moment with those purple trees stretching all down the road

Hello!

Wow, I’m sorry it’s been so long since I last posted. Time flies!

We’ll I’ve been keeping busy, although I’m still jobless – but am upping my effort and looking harder now.

My friend Yvan who I worked with up in Tully for a few months (read – drove around at 70kmh bare-chested all day doing minimal work) came down to Perth for a day, and so I met up with him which was great.

Since I last saw him he’s been driving all over the continent having a great time, although he had to abandon his car in the outback when the head-gasket broke! Oh well he didn’t really mind.

Me and Sooji have been going out around the city, eating takeaways and going to the Cineama quite regularly – we saw 2012 the other day… I liked it, lots of amazing and expensive scenes of carnage, shame about most of the world’s population though.

I have spent quite a lot of time dabbling in a few new business venturesin the last few weeks, originally helping Joe with some projects which will be set up soon but I’m also having a bit of a play around for myself. If truth be told occasionally I’ve got so absorbed in trying to unfathom a certain concept or working on particular thing, that I’ve stayed up all night a couple of times and sleeping well after day break! I’ll let you know more when they are up and running.

Meanwhile Sooji and I are going halves on the Harry Potter books, which I first bought her as something for reading practise, but after picking one up I haven’t put them down! I’m reading my way through the 5th book now! :D

Well, I’m sorry I haven’t got anything else very exciting to report, that’s the main reason I haven’t blogged for so long as I was waiting for something post-worthy! There may well be soon though as my funds are dwindling to the point where I can’t really justify procrastination and ought to get a job, so I’ll let you know how that goes!

All the best for now, take care,

Alex x
