A Great Flight on a Tearful Day

The Big Trip Add comments

Hello!

I’ve just experienced the saddest time of my whole trip… waving goodbye to Sooji at the airport as she heads off back to Korea via Singapore and Hong Kong. The farewell was tearful, but we have had a great time together and will meet up again soon.

To mark the end of our holiday, we took a scenic flight around Perth this afternoon! It was a great experience, although Sooji felt a little ill due to the turbulence. For me though it added additional enthusiasm to my goal of getting my license in the next couple of years.

I’ve embedded a short video below, and have added some pictures for those of you that are just scanning over them! :D

We’ve been taking it easy here in Perth, just wandering around, dining at cafes and restaurants (including a magnificent gourmet buffet at Miss Maud’s) and went for a drink with Sooji’s friends.

I’ll be heading back to Karratha tomorrow so this will probably be the last of the ‘regular’ blog posts, as with working 50 hours a week as well as cracking on with my business endeavours I don’t think I’ll have a great deal of time to get up to much of blog-worthiness!

Hey Al Greetings from Malacca, just caught up with your blog – parting makes the next meeting all the sweeter – shoulder back – crack on. When we going to see you again – stainless needs a polish!

    Hi Al
hope you will cope until the next meet.
Remember you have to wait for most good things in life and they get better all the time.
Hope we will get to meet you both in Thailand at Christmas and host the big family reunion there.
    Love Fi xx
